Morgan Lovell had several distinct objectives for this project.
The objective of the project was to create an engaging piece of content that our users would find relevant and that would position us as thought leaders and also enhance our SEO efforts in a competitive market. The piece that Render created met all of these objectives and the reaction has been phenomenal with increased traffic to the site, improved rankings and excellent coverage.

We ensured we made the best use possible of Morgan Lovell’s experts while also doing our own research – including our resident historian, Asher Baker, taking many trips to the British Library. The piece demanded accuracy and detail. Anything less would be unacceptable to Morgan Lovell, Render Positive, and most importantly those who would ultimately consume the content when it was completed. Beautiful illustrations and wonderful UX mean nothing if the information doesn’t intrigue. We cannot overstate the seriousness of this phase of the project.

An incredible piece makes for an easy sell. It was picked up by Digg, Design Taxi, referenced on Medium, and went viral on Twitter and LinkedIn. This directly led to improved search rankings, increased referral traffic, and visitors staying on the Morgan Lovell site for longer. It is the de-facto resource on this topic, and will continue to be referenced for years to come.
